They both had a unique blend of spices with very distinct flavors however, the sauces both lacked effort from the heat department. It just wasn’t spicy enough to my liking; in fact, it wasn’t spicy at all. It was half a notch spicier than Del Taco’s mild sauce. Weak sauce.
More often than not, the hot sauce tray at the Del Taco counter is devoid of yellow Inferno packs. All that’s left is Mild and Del Scorcho for the eye to see. A quick and dig through the pile might yield a pack or two of the elusive Inferno sauce at most. I’d like to think that the lack of the awesome sauce is due to it’s popularity. If that were the case, why doesn’t it get stocked properly? I’m losing sleep over this.
I want to meet person who introduces a hot sauce that combines the conservative distinct flavors unique to Taco Bell, with the heat intensity of Del Taco’s Inferno sauce.
